Job Details:
The candidate will be part of graphics front end DFX team under Visual and Parallel Computing Group (VPG) responsible for delivery of testability features for Graphics cores for Intel's CPUs / SOCs for notebook and tablet platforms.
In this position, the candidate will work on front-end RTL design and validation activities related to 3D and / or media features like MicrosoftDirectX, OCL, OGL, GPGPU, Image Enhancement etc for Intel's next generation graphics cores.
Responsibilities:
development of micro-architecture, RTL coding and validation of DFX units
development of test plans, test writing and execution
work with structural design teams to ensure timing closure for the owned units
work with validation and integration teams for debugs / fixes pre and post Silicon
Qualification:
Strong logic design skills and experience in System Verilog / Verilog / VHDL*
Strong analytical ability, problem solving and communication skills
Good understanding of ASIC design flow, validation concepts like ATG, test plan writing, functional coverage etc
Exposure to graphics and / or media architecture in previous employment would be an added advantage
Basic programming in Cand/or C++or Perlor TCL*
Coursework in relevant areas of programming, computer graphics, digital design and computer architecture are desirable
