Basic knowledge of Unix OS, Hands on experience with performance testing, load testing
Good to have: Working experience on security products, Experience on C++/Java/.Net
Skills:
Ability to follow and report exactly as described in test cases/procedures.
Ability to determine sufficiency of test cases/procedures to ensure high product quality.
Ability to write test cases/procedures to an approved specification.
Excellent trouble shooting skills.
Computer operating system, appropriate subsystems and test tool knowledge.
Demonstrate an understanding of coding languages.
Understanding of multiple hardware and OS platforms.
