Job Details:
Perform software project lifecycle tasks like software requirement analysis, Software Design, coding, implementation and reviews.
Own Software Design Documents based on the Software Requirements definition. When necessary, reverse-engineer software designs and requirements from legacy designs that lack SDDs.
Perform software safety analysis, based on safety requirements from the Software Requirements definition.
Follow the processes and standards defined in the project's Software Development Plan.
Actively communicate with project team. Communicate project cost and schedule risks, opportunities for improvement of legacy software designs, and new software safety hazards.
Qualifications/Requirements:
1 to 5 years hands-on experience in Software development for Real Time Embedded Systems.
BE/B.Tech Electrical/Electronics/Comp. Science from reputed Institutes with consistent record of academic performance at 60% or higher.
Strong background with C/C++ and assembly language programming.
Excellent Oral and Written communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for process simplification and customer satisfaction
Hands on experience on design of Safety Critical software in Rail , Automotive or Avionics domain
Hands on experience on handling Embedded hardware debugging, Emulators, Protocol Analysers
Desired Characteristics:
Experience in UML
Knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Programming in C++
Experience with software configuration management tools
Experience working in a High Maturity Software Organization
Experience and/or knowledge with digital hardware is desired, as is the ability to read and understand
